Scar Tissue

Scar tissue from surgeries, accidents and infections may be a source of real problems in terms of pain and loss of motion.  The body normally forms scar tissue to repair damage.  However, sometimes it causes adhesions, movement restrictions or replace otherwise more pliable tissue.  By removing unnecessary  fascial adhesions we can eliminate or reduce the effects of scar tissue.   We employ techniques may allow the body to separate tissues that were previously stuck together.  These methods are  employed at the tissue level to realign fibers  to change properties and shape of scar tissue.  Although it does not completely change scar tissue into normal fascial tissue the improvement can make a tremendous difference in mobility and free some of the muscles and nerves that may be trapped in the scar tissue.
